Blinds versus roller blinds

This means that they "screen out" the sunlight, but still let enough light into the room. However, they don't work as a safety feature. Roller blinds, on the other hand, can withstand strong wind gusts, can soundproof the interior, but cannot regulate light transmission. If you pull them down completely, the room will feel completely dark.
