Using a spring mechanism.
The Sunrol screen roller shade with manual operation offers a simple yet effective solution for protection against the sun and unwanted heat for all types of windows. The shade fabric is wound onto a shaft and concealed within a square, rounded box. We use perforated screen fabric as standard, which provides effective shading while maintaining a partial view through the window. Thanks to a spring mechanism, the fabric remains constantly taut, the bottom profile is secured in hooks, and the screen is thus protected from accidental pulling and weather conditions.

The Sunrol screen roller shade is mounted on a wall or ceiling. The fabric is housed in a visible box that remains visible from the outside and is also suitable for retrofitting in existing buildings.
The maximum size of a Sunrol shade, depending on the fabric type, is 2.4 x 3.5 m, and it can shade an area of up to 3 m².
Depending on the fabric you choose, you can achieve subtle or more pronounced shading. A blackout blind is obtained by using a fabric with a special layer that does not let the sun shine through.
The Sunrol roller blind provides a lower level of wind protection (class 2).
If you use it to shade windows or glazed facades, you also get light thermal insulation. If you need maximum thermal insulation, we recommend external roller blinds.
